Rural works framework expands to 375 permissible activities

The Rural Development Ministry has notified 375 permissible activities under the VB–G RAM G rural works framework, up from 266, according to DD India’s October 6 report.

The list covers water security, core rural infrastructure, livelihood infrastructure and disaster preparedness. The ministry described local planning with Gram Sabha approval and digital tracking to help select works suited to community needs.
