Karnataka pauses Mojini fee hike amid drought; previous rates to continue, says DCM Parameshwara
Deputy Chief Minister G. Parameshwara says revised Mojini survey fees have been temporarily put on hold to ease the burden on farmers amid drought. Previous rates will apply until further orders.

Bengaluru, October 5: Karnataka has temporarily put revised fees for survey applications under the Mojini system on hold, considering farmers’ difficulties amid drought, Deputy Chief Minister and Revenue Minister Dr. G. Parameshwara said in the statement supplied for publication.
According to the statement, government order ಕಂಇ 170 ಎಸ್ಎಸ್ಸಿ 2026, dated September 19, 2026, had revised survey application fees and licensed surveyors’ service charges with effect from October 1, 2026. The decision to pause the revision is intended to avoid adding to farmers’ financial burden.
Previous rates to continue
Fees in force before October 1, 2026 will continue to apply until further orders, he said.
Parameshwara said farmers’ interests remain a priority during drought and revenue services should not impose an additional burden on people already facing financial pressures.
The state’s drought conditions and farmers’ financial circumstances will be monitored. A further order on fee revision will be issued at an appropriate time after conditions improve, he said.
